This book is about a mouse who likes to hang out with a boy, his friend. The boy decides the mouse to school. Pretty soon the mouse wants to do things the boy does. It involves sharing a backback, making messes with paint, drawing pictures, writing books, and packing a lunch. When all is said and done, the lunchbox gets left at school causing the mouse to want to go to school to get it, starting the cycle all over again.
This book is hilarious! I find it very appealing to children. The pictures are funny and colorful. It is a very creative book, full of anticipation of what will happen with the mouse next. I liked how the cycle showed signs of repetition at the end.

Kids might want to take pets to school after reading this book.
