Stripey Animals

Author: Angela Wilkes
Illustrator: Kenneth Lilly
Publishing information: (Dorling Kindersley Publishers Ltd, October 29, 1992, Baby-Preschool)
Number of Pages: 32 pages
Genre: Informational

Summary of Plot:
This book is about striped animals- I know it’s redundant, given the title. Still, that is what it is about. It is not complicated. It talks about raccoon’s, Pallas’s cat, zebra, butterflies, chipmunks, clown fishes, tigers, etc. With each of the animals it gives the way in which stripes help in their life.

My Reaction to the book:
It is very simple. I am shocked by the size of the book. It is only 4.1 x 4.1 x 0.3 inches. It is very portable.

Potential Problems:

None

Recommendations:

This would be a good book to have on the go. It can fit into a bag, coat pocket, etc. because of its size. It has some cool facts too.

Note: the picture is not the cover. I could not locate a cover image of this book.
