Children Just Like Me

Author: Barnabas and Anabel Kindersley
Publishing information: (DK CHILDREN, September 9, 1995, Ages 9-12)
Number of Pages: 80 pages
Genre: Informational

Summary of Plot:

A couple visited 31 countries to interview children about their life.  They asked them similar questions, but some different ones as well. They organized this book by continents. For example they interviewed Rachel from France, Michael from Jerusalem, and Erdene from Mongolia. They explored their interests, family, culture, home life, and other things.

My Reaction to the book:

I really enjoyed this book because I love learning about geography. It was very informational, though at times the pages were too cluttered. The photographs are not biased; they showed every child happy, and well maintained.

Potential Problems:

            Cluttered pages

Recommendations:

I would recommend this book to those that love learning about all walks of life, and those who like geography. Its photographs are bright and clear. The information is simple, yet very informational for all ages.
